Side effect of lo loestrin7/29/2023 My advice is this: if you think you might be able to withstand the 3 - 4 months people say it takes for a pills side effects to settle and you like the pill, maybe try to stick it out. Besides that though, it's been a much better experience. When it came time for the placebo week, my anxiety spiked so bad I was having anxiety attacks nearly every time I went to the bathroom. It's been over a month now and I've had no side effects, and thankfully, my period stopped within days of starting the new pill. I switched doctors, and per her instructions, finished out the pack and then started a new bc (Junel Fe 1/20). After two months of the side effects making my life hell combined with my period continuing the entire time, I couldn't do it anymore. It didn't stop my bleeding or slow it in any way. The entire reason I was put on it, as someone who is not interested in sex, was to control my bleeding as I'd had a period going for roughly 5mo when she put me on it. I would also have periods of time where I just felt floaty and kind of numb/detached, like my body wasn't mine. My anxiety, depression, mood swings and general stomach cramps got worse, to the point of me switching gynos because my previous wouldn't respond to my calls or anything. I was put on lo loestrin fe by my original gyno. r/sterilization /r/FAMnNFP /r/Vasectomy/ /r/malecontraception/ Use the filters to see or exclude posts from one category and "All Posts" to return to the original feed.
